The regular meeting of Brant Lodge No. 45 was held Tuesday March 13/51 with Wor. Bro. Lloyd W. Lawrence in the Chair of King Solomon. R. Wor. Bro. William J. Stephenson, DDGM of Brant Masonic District was then received on his official visit to Brant Lodge. The board of trial having reported to the W. M. that Mr. Robert Lloyd Smith had answered the necessary questions favourably and the candidate having been properly prepared he was initiated into the 1st. degree of freemasonry.

The following is taken from the Lodge summons dated December 12, 1950. General Business-Balloting on the Election of the Worshipful Master and Lodge Officers for the year 1951 will constitute the work of the evening. Every member is urged to attend. If favourable reports are received the ballot will be passed on the following petitions for initiation. Mr. James Humble, age 32, Taxi Driver; Mr. Sydney Stevenson Woodburn, age 25, Machinist and Mr. Robert Thompson Livingstone Innes age 46, Barrister-at-Law.

INSTALLATION

A joint Installation of the Worshipful Masters and Officers of Brant No. 45 and Doric No. 121 will be held in the Masonic Temple on Wednesday, December 27th, 1950 at 7:30 pm. V. Wor. Bro. G. A. Bowden will be the Installing Master, assisted by the Past Masters of Brant and Doric. At this above mentioned election Bro. Lloyd Lawrence was elected Master of Brant Lodge and installed on Dec. 27, 1950 along with Bro. Samuel Painter of Doric No. 121 Brantford.
