Minutes of the regular meeting of Brant Lodge No. 45 A.F. &A.M.
held on Tues. The ninth day of April with Wor. Bro. Gordon Dean
in the chair of King Solomon. ----The Lodge was called from refreshment
to labour and Bro. David Leslie, a candidate for advancement was
examined in open Lodge as to his proficiency and directed to retire.
The D. of C. introduced Wor. Bro. Fox, his officers and members
of Brant Lodge No. 663, Burlington. After being welcomed Wor. Bro.
Fox received Grand Honours and assumed the gavel. No objection being
made, Bro. Leslie having been found worthy of advancement and having
been properly prepared was passed to the Fellowcraft degree. Wor.
Bro. R. William Clarke moved a vote of appreciation to Wor. Bro.
Fox and his degree team for the excellent work of the evening. It
was carried with applause. It was noted that this is the 31st interchange
between the Lodges. At the emergent meeting in April Bro. Brian
Sherren, a candidate for further advancement was examined and raised
to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.
